My first mens haircut...

My first mens haircut was performed on a willing victim: my husband Charlie. Everyone who knows Charlie knows how picky he is about his hair. He is famous for flying to Philadelphia to see his old barber who cut his hair for 15 years because "nobody in Georgia can get it right". I can't believe he let me do it! I did this haircut almost entirely with scissors. It took one hour, because when I was done, he wanted it a little shorter, so I started all over. I think I did a pretty good job, considering that the hair on his left side grows downward and the right grows sideways. The only thing is that I used the clippers on the very bottom and had a hard time blending it into the rest of the hair where I used the scissors. I am very proud of myself and relieved that I didn't butcher him. He told me that he would wear a hat if I did. He is very proud of me and insisted I put pics of him on the blog. I also gave Calysta a hair cut this morning. I took three inches off her hair, texturized it, and cut her bangs. It looks pretty professional. I'll have to put a pic of her on here later. I LOVE cutting hair!!!!!!!!!!!
