The happenings of Charlie.....

So Charlie went to one workout session and the buck stopped right there. He forgot the next time, then his back hurt, and now he is too busy to go. Oh well! Business has picked up a bit for him, so he is happy about that! On another note, he had the first pedicure of his life last night! I needed to get out so I announced I was going to get the babysitter. Charlie and I had a sumptuous dinner at the Bonefish Grill, but beforehand I wanted to pop into the nail shop close by. I ended up convincing Charlie to get a spa pedicure. He winced and groaned during the part where your toenails are trimmed. I had the time of my life making jokes. I told Charlie that they were going to have to get an axe out back to get the dead skin off his heels. He loved the massage part, and I am sure the lady's hands were sore after massaging Charlies tree-trunk legs. As I relaxed in the spa chair, Charlie spent the entire time trying to sell the owner an alarm. When he was finally finished, he got out of the chair and limped around. What a baby! Actually, he was a trooper, and I am proud of him for trying something new.

Wow! Luke would never do that! ;-) But it would be hilarious to watch! Nice bonding time the two of you got together! ;-)

Wow, I can't believe Charlie did that. Good for him! There was an old man at the nail shop the other day celebrating his 76th birthday with a manicure and pedicure.
